These cells are mesenchymal stem cells derived from Wharton’s Jelly of umbilical cords. They are isolated, cultured, and cryopreserved. Each vial includes 1×10^6 cryopreserved, well-characterized, tested, and certified cells.

  • Umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells (UC-MSCs) are multipotent stem cells sourced from umbilical cord. These cells possess a remarkable capacity for self-renewal and differentiation into various specialized cell types such as chondrocytes, osteoblasts, and adipocytes. Their accessibility, genomic stability, and tissue repair potential with minimal immunological and ethical concerns make them an ideal candidate for both experimental and clinical applications. UC-MSCs offer distinct advantages over traditional sources of MSCs, including ease of collection, faster self-renewal, longer multipotency, and additional immunosuppressive properties.

  • Human umbilical cord-derived MSCs (HUC-MSCs) are isolated from umbilical cord tissue obtained from Wharton’s Jelly. Following isolation, the cells undergo culture, purification, and cryopreservation before being delivered frozen.

    • Flow cytometry analysis confirms the expression of CD90, CD105, and CD73 markers, while CD34 and CD45 markers associated with hematopoietic stem cells are absent. The cells are rigorously tested for sterility and are free from mycoplasma, yeast, fungi, and bacteria. HIV-1, HIV-2, and HBV are undetected.

    • Characterization of cells:

        •  General Characteristics: Mesenchymal stem cells (UC-MSCs) isolated from Wharton's Jelly. Provided with lowest passage times (Maximum 2 times), leading to a very high undifferentiated level. These cells can be passaged at least 5 to 10 times if standard  lab protocols are precisely used, keeping stable, and healthy cells, at high growth rates.

        • Strong capacity to expand.

        • Positive for CD29, CD44, CD105 and negative for CD34, CD45 by flow cytometry analysis.

        • Multipotential differentiation ability along osteogenic, chondrogenic, and adipogenic lineages.


    • Delivery and storage:

        • Frozen cells are shipped on dry ice.

        • Upon receipt, if no dry ice is left in the package, thaw and use cells immediately.

        • If there is dry ice left in the package, store cells in liquid nitrogen immediately upon arrival.

        • When stored at the recommended storage conditions, components are stable up to the expiration date.

        • Do not expose to elevated temperature.
