Exosomes play a critical role in intracellular communication and physiology by mediating the transfer of bioactive molecules between cells. GainMed collaborates with sponsors to characterize exosomes and design and implement in vitro research programs that model their function and investigate potential therapeutic benefit.

Exosome Cell-Based Assays

GainMed’s exosome in vitro cell-based assays investigate the physiologic function of exosomes. Data from these studies may be used to inform development of pharmaceutical or cosmetic products with therapeutic benefit. We customize cell-based research programs to meet clients’ requirements as well as implement the following standard assays:

  • In Vitro Wound Healing (Scratch Assay)

  • Exosome-Induced Cell Proliferation

  • Exosome-Induced Collagen Production

  • Exosome-Induced Inhibition of Inflammatory Cytokines
